By highlighting and celebrating the diversity within these communities, we combat underrepresentation and raise awareness about racist stereotypes that have become entrenched in various aspects of society, such as in the media and politics. Storytelling places the people from our communities at the center, allowing them to tell their own stories.
Our programs showcase the diversity within the East and Southeast Asian communities in the Netherlands, prevent, signal, and respond to racist incidents, and create an environment where people from these communities can come together. Through this, we aim for an equal, representative, inclusive, and ultimately racism-free Netherlands.
